Winners of the 9th annual (i.e. monthly) Alphaville Awards have been announced (see below for winners), but the event has been overshadowed by charges on the Stratics boards that the event has become an exercise in cronyism. Were the winners merely the same old FOOs? (Friends Of Organizers.) Coming in the wake of controversies over the Alphaville Government Elections and Ashley?s Miss Alphaville Contest, perhaps the contest should seek to be more inclusive and seek out fewer FOOs in the next batch of nominations.
The winners:
Best Lot
- The Weakest Link
Best Event
- "Waiting for Godot", Directed by David Pierce, Diamond Memorial Theatre
Best Male Lot Owner
- David Pierce, Diamond Memorial Theatre

Best Female Roommate

It has never been FOO, lol. I do not choose the winners, the Alphaville Awards Academy does, a group of Alphaville founders. Check www.freewebs.com/alphavilleawards for more information.
