Notorious griefer issues public apology to SL residents and Linden Lab
by Pixeleen Mistral, National Affairs desk
Renouncing his griefer thug life with the notorious PN griefing gang, N3x15 has posted a public apology, in which he promises to make amends to Linden Lab and their customers who “have experienced a great volume (approximately 200+ accounts worth) of griefing, trolling, and real monetary loss”.
N3x15 explains his sins in detail, saying “I have done some disrespectful, stupid, disgusting, and sometimes even downright vile things during my tenure as the Patriotic Nigras griefing group’s webmaster, coder, and occasionally even temporary leader when times were rough. I have promoted discrimination against social/racial groups, destroyed virtual land, seeded malicious products, crashed servers, spammed wikis, eliminated groups and individuals from the grid, initiated false-flag campaigns against groups, scouted for potential targets, conducted surveillance on targets, coded ban evasion clients, and numerous other offenses”
Apparently N3x15 had a change of heart recently, possibly due to growing up: “I should have aimed for higher goals. I didn’t, and, as I aged and finally graduated from college, I became ashamed of myself and my actions. I have no excuse for my actions, and I realize that I have done so much that everything that comes out of my mouth rings hollow, so writing apologies at this stage is like trying to put out a forest fire with a wet fork.”
Promising that his actions in the future will be in support of society at large, N3x15’s apology letter goes on to describe several projects in support of started several projects in support of OpenSim.
In the area of personal compensation, N3x15 promises, “To those I have affected, be you Linden or user, furry or human, individual or group: I wish to apologize for the shit I have pulled. I have undoubtedly caused untold amounts of emotional and monetary harm to you and your customers, and most likely repeatedly. Therefore, if you need any assistance, whether it be architectural, scripting, coding or (basic) texturing, please contact me at [email protected] with what you need and when you are available. I’ll help you, free of charge and in a civil fashion in order to help make up for monetary damages”.
Apparently this may mean that N3x15 will evade bans and risk the wrath of the spurned PN griefers to assist various distraught residents: “I will, however, try to offset the permanent mark on my record by drowning it out with positive actions, whether I have to bypass a ban in order to build something for a resident, help a newbie fix their mic, etc. If that means backstabbing the PN and getting my ass raided, so be it”
While the sentiments expressed are encouraging, it is unclear how the griefing community, the game gods, and his former victims will react. It is difficult to imagine Prokofy Neva using an open source land rental script from N3x15, for instance. Will this public confession and self-imposed public service payback on the part of N3x15 lead to his re-integration into SL society at large - or do his virtual crimes merit a lifetime ban from Linden Lab's virtual meeting place?
No Pixeleen you are the Greifers.

I figure I should go ahead and issue a public statement before the peanut gallery chimes in.
Despite your best efforts, no, we don't give a shit about N3X15 leaving, nor what he wants to do to somehow "make things right." LL is too busy banning him over and over like Tizzers and Codec to actually want his help, despite how desperately they really do need it.
Every time someone leaves, there's this big fuss about absolutely nothing, and they go on this whole daytime Internet TV spiel about how they're going to make it all better, and the talking heads chime in about how "ZoMG THEY IS FINISHED FOR GOOD LOL".
Instead of dying off like you desperately pray for, we continue to evolve and grow as we adapt to every new situation that presents itself, and much like our glorious self-replicating weapons, no matter how many are destroyed, we keep coming back.
I guarantee it.

I too have reformed and am willing to help everyone who needs it. I have been working closely with N3X15 during this transition, and if you feel that I caused you harm or monetary damage I am completely willing to reimburse you for damages. Just email your home address to [email protected] and a detailed account of the incident, and I will look into getting a check to you.
also, if you need help in world building something or defending against griefers, just email me your in-world name and password.
Maybe someday, God will forgive us N3X

I dont know what makes me laugh more, the fact hes apologiseing and bawwwing for sympathy, or the fact he did not shut PN down when he had his holy vision of guilt for his actions and his groups actions.
Seriously your full of shit, and this is a joke if you had any brain you would have closed the site down, not handed it over to continue on, there for your whole actions and words are meaningless due to that fact.
You want it to continue but pull a stunt like this your a joke and I hope you get permabanned from every place you try to reintegrate into.
I dont hate retards, thats a waste of time thank you for snapping and realiseing what you are and giveing us a great laugh.
FizzleFry is the one who DDos my website with second life repetitive scripts calling up the actual URL of the actual post so that I would remove the article I posted on you about being a "Greafer Reborn", in that sence he wanted to cover up there failings.
And then I laugh to see here your posting your trying to be "Greafer Reborn"
To have FizzleFry come personally in game to ask for an apology for the post shows just how retarded he is, I never backed down looks like you cant stick to your own words.
You will be greafed and no one gives a real shit about you, which I find so funny.
Santas got you on the naughty list so Merry fucking Christmas Greaferfag.

"he did not shut PN down when he had his holy vision of guilt for his actions"
And how would you like him to 'shut down PN'? He can't do anything other than say 'hay guise, this ain't cool no more'.
As much as comparing PN to Terrorist groups makes me laugh, take a gander at any terrorist group that was ever more than talk, and you'll see that when the leadership announces the end of their struggle, the group just continues without him.
A good example is the "Real IRA" who formed after the original IRA publically dismarmed their paramilitary groups.

Alyx your wisdom continues to be a guiding light by which all of us can look to; to navigate these troubling and uncertain times. N3X and I are committed to clearing our names and we realize that only time and a multitude of good actions will make this a reality.
I want to stress again, the unification of dick burns and N3X15, as reformed griefers means a new era for Second Life, Linden Labs, and quite possibly every entire civilization known to man.
As N3X said in his blog, feel free to contact him or myself.

Oooh, Alyx, the hyper-furry ex-PN squeaks again! Your clownish attempts at superiority only serve to amuse the rest of us.
Seriously, though, the stuff the PN do in SL nobody cares about. The stuff they - specifically Randy - do in RL is FBI stuff.
But with the PN, you're way off the mark. Leaders don't come along that often. The PN had two - Mooty and N3x. After them, there weren't any - the rest were just ignorant fuckwads who led the PN down the drain. That's why all but Frizzle, Zimmer and Dickburnz left. Zimmer and Dick just suck Frizzle's fry now, as he leads them on pointless raids.

Posted by: Anonymous | December 16, 2008 at 09:48 AM
Corsi, if you think about it, first, if I announced who I was, would anybody believe it wasn't some troll posting? I could say, Hey, hi, I'm This Guy Nobody's Ever Heard Of a.k.a. Witness X, and who would believe it or care?
And second, I'm one of only about six or seven Witness X's to use the name (the original having left SL permanently sometime early in 2007). So a single name wouldn't do anyone any good at all, even if it were believed.
And the other thing you probably hadn't thought about was that if I announced who I was, that would be the end of my ability to do things like dox PN, start and maintain drama inside griefer groups to the point where they fly apart in steaming pieces, that sort of thing.
Posted by: Witness X | December 16, 2008 at 11:52 AM
Trolling PN works. RoflKoptr leaps to the defense of the six guys still in the PN who aren't smart enough to lay down their watermelons, hang their heads in shame and shuffle off to find buckets of chikkinz that haven't been pissed in yet.
Seriously, not even your own people know what's real and what isn't anymore because you make up so much shit and tell each other stories like it was the truth, your spy network collapsed months ago, and if Linden Lab does something, even accidentally, that breaks ShoopedLife, you're all screwed because not one of you remembers how it works.

Best Buy will look to restructure starting with offering voluntary buyouts to most of its 4,000 corporate employees, followed by possible layoffs if the buyouts aren't taken.
Rival electronics retailer Circuit City has also been going through financial woes of its own, recently entering into bankruptcy and closing many of its stores.

MASS LAYOFFS IN OCTOBER 2008
In October, employers took 2,140 mass layoff actions, seasonally
adjusted, as measured by new filings for unemployment insurance
benefits during the month, the Bureau of Labor Statistics of the U.S.
Department of Labor reported today. Each action involved at least 50
persons from a single employer; the number of workers involved totaled
232,468, on a seasonally adjusted basis. The number of mass layoff
events this October decreased by 129 from the prior month, and the
number of associated initial claims fell by 3,213. Both layoff events
and initial claims reached their highest October levels since 2001, a
month that experienced continued layoff activity from the September 11
attacks. In October, 635 mass layoff events were reported in the
manufacturing sector, seasonally adjusted, resulting in 87,403 initial
claims. Over the month, mass layoff events in manufacturing increased
by 32 and initial claims increased by 5,989; the third consecutive
over-the-month increase for both. (See table 1.)
From January through October 2008, the total number of events (sea-
sonally adjusted), at 16,951, and initial claims (seasonally adjusted),
at 1,742,914, were the highest for the January-October period since 2002.
The national unemployment rate was 6.5 percent in October, seasonally
adjusted, up significantly from 6.1 percent the prior month and up from
4.8 percent a year earlier. In October, total nonfarm payroll employment
decreased by 240,000 over the month and by 1,078,000 from a year earlier.
Industry Distribution (Not Seasonally Adjusted)
The number of mass layoff events in October was 2,125 on a not
seasonally adjusted basis; the number of associated initial claims was
221,784. (See table 2.) Average weekly layoff events rose from 271
in October 2007 to 425 in October 2008, while average weekly initial
claimants increased from 27,114 to 44,357. In 2008, both average
weekly events and initial claimants reached their highest October
levels since 2001. In 2008, two major sectors reported program highs
in terms of average weekly initial claimants for the month of October--
the construction sector and the arts, entertainment, and recreation sec-
tor (with data available back to 1995).
The manufacturing sector accounted for 32 percent of all mass
layoff events and 45 percent of initial claims filed in October 2008;
a year earlier, manufacturing made up 31 percent of events and 47
percent of initial claims. This October, the number of manufacturing
claimants was greatest in transportation equipment manufacturing
(36,110), followed by food manufacturing (11,144). (See table 3.)
Administrative and waste services accounted for 16 percent of mass
layoff events and 14 percent of associated initial claims during the
month.
The six-digit NAICS industry with the largest number of initial
claims was temporary help services (16,381), followed by automobile
manufacturing (10,508). Among the 10 industries with the highest
levels of initial claims, 3 of the 10--automobile manufacturing, travel
trailer and camper manufacturing, and professional employer organiza-
tions--reached program highs in 2008 for the month of October (with
data available back to 1995). (See table A.)

Geographic Distribution (Not Seasonally Adjusted)
Of the 4 census regions, the Midwest had the highest number of
initial claims in October due to mass layoffs (75,210), followed by
the West (69,542) and the South (53,087). (See table 5.) Average
weekly initial claimants in mass layoffs increased over the year in
all 4 regions with the West (+5,341) and the Midwest (+5,329) experi-
encing the largest increases.
Of the 9 divisions, the Pacific (60,351) and the East North Central
(60,196) had the highest numbers of initial claims in October due to
mass layoffs. (See table 5.) All 9 of the divisions experienced over-
the-year increases in average weekly initial claims, led by the Pacific
(+4,229) and the East North Central (+3,829). In 2008, the East South
Central and Mountain divisions reached program highs in average weekly
initial claims for the month of October.
California recorded the highest number of initial claims filed due
to mass layoff events in October with 51,286. The next highest states
reporting mass layoff initial claims were Ohio (17,764) and Michigan
(16,851). (See table 6.) Twelve states reached program highs in
average weekly initial claims in 2008 for the month of October--Alabama,
Alaska, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Nevada,
Ohio, Utah, and Wyoming. Forty-four states registered over-the-year
increases in average weekly initial claims associated with mass layoffs,
led by California (+3,256), Michigan (+2,073), and Florida (+1,319).

People seem to keep going on and on about the PN as if we're out make a statement. As if we make our exploits out to be something of prime importance to the masses.
Hardly.
Yes. We'll shout several paragraphs worth of militaristic mumbo jumbo. But it's all part of the fun. The silliness.
Haven't you caught on yet? Haven't you learned?
We don't do it for fame. We don't do it for some warped sense of moral propriety.
We do it out of our own benefit.
For the lulz.
It's no different than taking a few hours out of your day to have fun playing your favorite video game.
Your frustration and anger are part of our entertainment.
We live for your emotional reaction. If it wasn't for that....for things like this...
we probably wouldn't exist.

Oh, yea, Rofl, it's a sacred discipline all right. You all lie to each other about how well things went, then the next bunch of idiots takes that information as true and institutionalizes the same mistakes you made the last time, then you all lie to each other again about how well THAT worked.
Fast forward to the present - and you have a total breakdown in historical knowledge of your own group. Not a single one of you even knows or remembers what a disaster Project:Superlaser really was, for example, nor why, but it's touted as one of the high points in PN history instead of the clusterfuck it was. I still remember N3X15 yelling at everyone over Ventrillo during the raid, and everybody agreeing that no designated targets were hit, and that the whole thing was a disgrace. Then Mudkips called us all idiots in IRC the next day.
So yeah, it's a sacred discipline, all right - with no acolytes.
