5 'episodes' of this shite
Posted by: Darkley | January 26, 2009 at 07:39 AM
I hate this! What a waste of my time! I can't wait for the next episode to come out so I can find out what happens next! ;)

@ SPACETARD & Darkley:
Don't worry, these comics were written over 12 months ago and I haven't done any since...
However, I will be working on part 3 from now on, and with any luck it will appear in the Herald as soon as it's done :)
Don't worry though - I know how hard it can be to not click on each episode, and I understand the difficulty of trying to avoid looking at the site to read the comic once you have accidentally clicked the link, and I sympathise with everyone who found it so difficult to not leave a reply afterwards.
You see, I, too, used to click links that I was not interested in, and I, too, used to read the pages behind those links, and I, too, used to post messages telling everyone how shite the articles were.
However, with determination and a willingness to discipline myself, I overcame my obsession. Now, I can surf again happily, safe in the knowledge that if I ever find something that I do not like to see, I can safely avoid clicking on the links that will expose me to the content that offends me so much!
Now, my surfing is fun again, and I look to the future with a sense of hope and happiness! If I can overcome this obsession, then so can anyone else! Good luck! ;)

I hope that wasn't aimed at me..... I'm actually enjoying them! I really do want to see what is coming next. You are quite good at this Coke. :)

@ Hylee
Don't worry Hylee, it wasn't aimed at you! ;)
It will be a little while before the next instalment is ready - I have a LOT of work to do in SL before I start shooting the comic - but rest assured, it will be done within the next few months :)

@ Coke
I can't help but notice that every time a comic comes out you have to come here to defend it. Not that it's not obvious but it seems that you are doing this to stroke your own ego at this point. To say that these were made 12 months ago is an obvious lie since you stated to the contrary already in previous articles. What this DOES say is that you got the first three comics posted and feel that you are now obligated to continue because you had a small amount of praise.
When the real truth is that your articles contain no real content and are nothing more than a way to express how great you think you are.
As for the Herald itself. I recall a time when this place was fun to read and real genuine articles of real genuine issues. In the past six months it has turned to total shit and I am quite enjoying watching the entire place fail.
Love,
Professor C

oh you misunderstand, I didn't read them i skimmed the first one, and the noticed the others after - and felt the need to comment

@ Professor C
The comic was originally written in TWO parts. If you look at the parts released in the Herald, you will see that the start of parts 2,3,4 and 5 all start with the same image of the comic's title on a black background WITH PART 2 WRITTEN ON EVERYONE ONE OF THEM! This is because in-world, they are in a comic HUD that has been circulating around SL FOR OVER A YEAR PROFESSOR C :)
"Part 3" is the 3rd instalment that I am currently working on, and has not appeared in print yet. Over a year has passed since part 2 (which, in the Herald, appeared as part 2,3,4 and 5).
I'm defending the comics because I'm damn proud of them and everyone has always said they enjoyed reading them (except for readers of this site, it seems). I'm not using anything to "express how great I think I am", I'm just defending myself against the negative comments that have been levelled at me.
In all honesty, I never would have got this story into the Herald in the first place if Zilu hadn't have copybotted my work.
But he did. And now I'm making part 3. So ner.
Love,
Coke

So now your little story of revenge has become a soap opera.
Give it a rest.

@ yawn
These comics are coming out once per year at the rate I make them!
Why should I "give it a rest" anyway? I have fun making them, others have fun reading them, anyone can come to my land to read it or take a copy for free, or when they spend just one Linden dollar on the alien avatar - I've recieved tremendous support for doing this, and unless you can get zilu to stop selling what he stole then no offense but put up or shut up ;)
