Satin Tigress transgender neo-burlesque club and Catzi Radio -- a cyberpunk <3 match
by Timothy Morpork
The MMORPG Matrix Online closed on July 31, 2009. Though primarily a combat game, players developed into a community that socialized in cyberpunk themed clubs within the game. With their virtual world closed, they need a new virtual space in which to gather. Second Life, of course, is a perfect place for the former Matrix Online players to make a new home.
The Satin Tigress, a Second Life neo-burlesque club featuring female and transgender performers, is welcoming Matrix Online players with a Matrix-themed party this Wednesday, August 5, 2009.
The Satin Tigress will host a live radio show by Catzi Pearl of Catzi Radio, which was the most popular radio station of the Matrix Online. With the Matrix Online gone, Catzi hopes that Catzi Radio will become a mainstay of Second Life, and she is bringing her huge following to the Satin Tigress.
Catzi Radio and the Satin Tigress are a natural fit. Catzi Radio is more than a music stream; it is a community project featuring creative DJs putting on true shows to complement the virtual action. The Satin Tigress is more than just a strip club; it is a counter-culture collective of free-spirits and creative dancers, bringing the neo-burlesque movement to Second Life.
Catzi Radio and the Satin Tigress have already teamed for several events. A Las Vegas Night featured a mix of Sin City's best lounge music and comedy while dancers debuted an tiger-taming event that went excitingly awry. Cops 'N' Robbers night included hilarious arrest stories and the dancers' dramatic presentation of the Case of the Missing Jewel - you'll never guess where it was found.
Of course, not all former Matrix Online players will find transgender neo-burlesque to their tastes. But even if they eventually find other diversions within Second Life, Wednesday's event will at least make them feel welcome to Second Life and give them a great chance to meet new friends and get comfortable with Second Life.
The Satin Tigress's Matrix Event is Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 8 - 10 pm SLT. The slurl is: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Peddle/158/29/402. Yes, it is a Mature event. To find out more about Catzi Radio, contact Catzi Pearl in Second Life.
Ohhhhh, THIS should be good.

"...and she is bringing her huge following to the Satin Tigress."
And me suspects they'll turn right around and leave when the sim that place is located in crawls on it's knees bringing the "world" for all in it to the exciting blazing speed of molasses.
Didn't even know there *was* a Matrix Online. I guess in that case, SL sim can hold all 20 migrating players?

Were sorry, after receiving a letter from Warner Brothers Studios, we at Linden Lab cannot accept any refugees from The Matrix TM.
Please turn in your latex outfits at the door, and refrain from selling any Matrix TM unlicensed merchandise to pay for your overpriced sim's tier. But please do keep paying us to "create your world" in.

You actually took the time to respond to this article just to poop on other peoples' fun? Who are you, Lou Dobbs or Bill O'Rielly?
I actually bothered to respond to you? Sure! See you at the Satin Tigress in SL tonight!

Wow, I thought the matrix online died YEARS ago. Hell, I thought after the abysmal failure which was the two hastily made sequels was the end of anything matrix related.
Also, what a fine way to greet them into SL, with shemales.
lovely.
