[Former Post 6 Photographer Justine Babii im'd me a few weeks ago with the name Meltemi Case, and as soon as I met Ms. Case I think I knew exactly what Justine meant by "unique". Meltemi Case arrived for her photoshoot with friends posing as an agent and a publicist and proceded to keep us all entertained and interested as she produced great look after great look. It was an honor to work with Meltemi Case, this week's Post 6 model. -Timothy Morpork]
I came to Second Life way back in 2004; it seems like an eternity now. In the last 5 years I've met so many wonderful people its hard to keep up with them all....including my current real life partner... and the father of two of my three boys :D
I chose the name Meltemi because I am a great fan of greek mythology and the meltemi is the very strong winds that blow around the Greek islands...much like how I can be a whirlwind to my friends. I love all my SL friends, and some might think it's only on-line but I cherish each one and keep them close to my heart. I am always impressed by the talent I have discovered in so many of the residents of second life. A few of the places one might find me is at my close friend Earth's creation Inspire Space Park or at Persephone's sim where we are currently raising chickens together or maybe even dancing while listening to DJ Fmeh.
You will normally find me hanging with my friends, but I have been known to be out noob hunting... only for sport, I have a strict catch and release policy. I am quite the goof and love to play tricks and jokes on any unsuspecting person. I have to have some hook ya know...I may not have the talent for building or making clothes like some of my friends, but at least I have my humor!
+1 :)
But I hope those chickens you're raising are free range..... :P

Is this a blog about chickens?
Posted by: Obvious Schism | August 18, 2009 at 02:54 PM
@Obvious Schism
All blogs are now about chickens. Didn't you get the memo? Second Life is to be renamed Second Chicken ("Your chicken, your imagination"). Linden Lab is to be renamed Chicken Lab as will all employees e.g. Mia Chicken, Torley Chicken, Phillip Chicken and so on. The Lindens will stop handing out Linden Bears and will now hand out Linden Chickens instead.
Next week, expect to see a Post 6 Chikkkin in the Herald.
Oh and forget all that Furry v Troll stuff, there's a new faction in town. You guessed it. Chickens.

Given how Chickens are now supporting the SL land economy, I have proposed to Philip and M that they need to modify avatars so that we must eat virtual food or starve. This obviously would create more demand for chickens, and thus, land for raising chickens on it. It will have the added side effect of causing bots to starve from stupidity, or, someone will program them to predate upon the chickens as furry avatars. This would then make SL more entertaining for the rest of us who can then hunt the predators, and Second Life will become much more like real life.

Hey, Senban and IntLibber, since you seem to have the inside scoop. where can I bid for the contract to supply those chickens? I have bookoos of eggs in inventory that I can't upgrade or they will expire in two months. Lovely colors. Good breeding stock, from well-behaved chicken daddies and chicken mammas..not a mutant in the bunch. (Because mutants are not supported, according to a recent notecard) And willing to supply in original Sion transport boxes, not fake wrappers (since those kill the chickies, according to a recent notecard). And fed only authentic Sion foodstuffs (since the feed grown using Sion corn plants is not all the same quality (according to yet another notecard.)

P.S. Oh, wait, sorry, I thought this was the Chicken Comments. In the Chickenville Herald.

@Farmetta Gunster
That depends, are they Norwegian Blue Chickens? They're tricky because they have a tendency to pine for the fjords and often get tired and shagged out after a long cluck. Beautiful plumage though.

Any chickens older than v11 lagless deserves to die for griefing the grid with their existence. People who purposely refuse to upgrade their chickens are willfully griefing.
