The Greenies' mega-sized kitchen table may never be the same after yesterday's Post 6 Grrrls, Guys, Furries and Robots party set a new standard for how the most beautiful people in the new media metaverse can be movin' and groovin' gettin' small all across the floor.

Haha we did have a good time (again!) It's bad though when everyone is keeping a running total of how many times poor Timothy crashes XD All good fun though and great to put faces to names again :)
When's the next one?

"newest fashion trend - kanji group tags"
That's not fashion, those are simply words with a meaning. I don't think that people who can actually read them think of them as fashion items.

Tarissa-
I agree, Bunny is a bitch and everyone she likes usually is too.
Great party. Seeing Marilyn Murphy, Pixeleen, Jessica Holyoke and Pappy there was awesome, meeting Jimbo Quality nearly gave me orgasm.

Right, I am, never claimed anything else. And now have some balls and publish that comment without hiding in anonymity so I can shamelessly bitch at you.

Yeah was a great party. I'm glad to see that all the effort I made with my outfit was recognised.

I find the whole idea of SL "Glitterati" and "SLebrities" so amusing. Are the majority of these people (most of whom I've never even *heard* of) actually famous for anything?
I dunno...maybe I live too much of my SL in my own happy and quiet little bubble...

>Implying there is any sort of glamour or glitter in SL

sl fame is an elusive subject. years ago, when a busy day in sl saw 100 people on line, everyone knew each other. so fame had no meaning at all. as sl grew, some people tried to compose lists of famous avatars in the forums. (humans love lists) fame sort of meant did everyone know of or had heard of that avatar. big john jade, stroker serpentine, mistress midnight, sassy apple, chip midnight, briana dawson, munchflower and others would have been considered famous or well known, good or bad in 2004. (see? i made a list)(and yes i left some out because, my memory really sux)
today i think sl has expanded to the point where a generally famous avatar, one who most people know of, would be hard to come by. consider in real life. would u know what congressman represented the 12th district of montana if u didnt live there? he might be famous in montana, sort of, but not in florida.
stroker might be more generally known than most as he still makes a large ripple in the lake with his doings to this day. everyone has their group of friends and associates they deal with in sl, and some member of your circle might be well regarded and therefore famous or a celebrity within the confines of a particular group. on the other hand.
consider someone who has created some really good items and whose work is generally used by avatars in sl. this person is largely unknown but has been here since early 2004 and has had a larger impact on us all than most. she is still with us today, and quietly working on new things all the time. i refer to crystalshard foo. some deserve fame. there are others like her. i mention her here because i think she is a truly special person and she is famous to me.

@ M. Murphy: I for one opt for infamy :) hehehe and people have forgotten more about Stroker Serpentine than they remeber. Let's remind them!

@jumpman: lets not lest they are reminded of my behavior.

I don't like these new icons that are attached to each comment. Aren't they supposed to be unique to each poster? Yet I get the same one as someone called "I Agree" - but I don't agree. What's going on?
